Do I have to attend every retreat class?

Not at all! We would love to have you in the weekly workshops live, but we are both a synchronous and asynchronous global learning community. Some of us join sessions live, some opt for a self-paced journey and catch the recordings when their schedule and capacity allows and some do a hybrid of both. Feel empowered to design your own learning experience! And remember, there is no such thing as "being behind" inside this retreat.

What is the frequency of the payment plan?

If you choose the payment plan option, you will be billed automatically every month depending on your date of enrollment. You'll be able to monitor any upcoming payments in your account dashboard.

Do you offer scholarships?

Not yet! But stay tuned, this is a goal of Seeda School once the school expands beyond a team of one.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes! You can request a refund all the way until the first day of class if you enrolled in a LIVE retreat session. Unfortunately, after the live session begins and/or you've accessed the Course Library and Worldbuilder's Handbook we're unable to issue refunds for the program. With that said, please carefully assess your capacity before enrolling in this program. <3

Is this retreat open to non-black worldbuilders?

Yes! The Seed A World retreat prioritizes the comfort of black worldbuilders, centers the black imagination and is completely informed by black feminist research, but everyone invested in black queer and trans lives are welcomed! If you share the value that anti-blackness in any form has no place inside collective liberation then we invite you to join us in seeding worlds rooted in the future of our collective desires.

What happened to the Software Engineering Program?

The Software Engineering Program is still supporting existing students but the program is currently at capacity and no longer accepting new students at this time.
